The tides are changing 

We are seeing a shift. Are you?   

Early on we shared 3 phases of COVID-19: Stabilize, Normalize and Actualize.  Recently we have been in the Normalize phase, but the tides are changing, and we are swiftly moving into the Actualize phase.   

How do we know?  Because companies are changing their messaging and offerings. Verizon (who has been incredibly generous)  ended the free 15GB of data they gave its customers, fitness companies that went online with free programming are reducing the number of classes and encouraging membership, and many emails now include lines like: we hope you have enjoyed our free offerings and will consider… (joining, buying, subscribing, etc.).

Its easy for your clients and patrons to feel like something is being taken from them when the “free” goes away.  Remember messaging is critical as you change the rules or ask for payment. If you come from a place of gratitude and appreciation, your clients will be more likely to move with you as you start to Actualize the next phase of reopening your business.
