Marketing trends: What can we count on in 2021?
If the last year has taught us anything it’s to expect the unexpected. So while marketers have made many excellent predictions as to what to expect in 2021, we are hesitant to declare any trends with certainty.
However, there are some things that never change. Therefore we can safely say that your business will benefit from paying attention to the following in 2021:
- Measurement. We often say that the only goals that matter are the ones that can be achieved. And you can’t know whether you’re moving closer to that target or not without measurement.
- Brand identity and trust. This always matters, but while the consumer mood is generally distrustful and cautious it is especially important.
- Know your audience. You can’t practice “Ready, Shoot, Aim” and expect to hit the target.
- Use your mediums wisely. Saturation is not always the best method. There are always multiple ways to get your message out there. You will need to know which one works best for you and your audience.
