The end is coming!

Next month, and every year in the fall, we set our clocks back one hour to save a bit of daylight. When I was young, I used the term “falling back” to remind me to subtract instead of add an hour.

I am sitting in my office today, looking at the clock on my desk and thinking about that term: “Falling back.” With the days getting shorter and colder we are reminded that time is short and the year will soon be over. Autumn is a fantastic time to pause and take stock – or “fall back.” We look at where we are and ask ourselves where we want to be by the end of the year.

Remember those goals you set at the beginning of the year? Where did you want your business to be by this point? Are you close? Have you made progress? Have you even started?

Now is the time to revisit them.  What is possible in the third quarter?  We recommend simplifying.  What is realistic what is not? Marketing is a continual 4 step process

Now is a great time to do three simple things

  1. Measure what you’ve done thus far this year
  2. Iterate on the successes and learnings.  Review your remaining goals
  3. PLAN!

No matter your goal, whether it’s building your brand awareness, increasing your followers on social media, growing your customer base and therefore your profits, getting more employee buy-in, or any other myriad of business goals, there is still time! With the right plan, your goals are still within reach. Now is not the time to give up on the aspirations you had at the beginning of the year, but the time to “fall back” on them, re-dedicate yourself, and get to work.

And if you need help pushing those goals to the finish line, give us a call! We have been inspired by so many clients’ passion and vision for their businesses. We would love to help you fill in the missing pieces between aspirations and success, and finish the year out strong.

It’s not too late!
